Biography:

Ashiesh Bist, an actor, is a talented performer who has been sculpted by a rich combination of dedication and experience. Although he was born and reared in Mumbai, his roots are in Uttarakhand. From 1983 to 1985, he represented his college in the esteemed IPTA Inter Collegiate Drama Competitions, which helped him realize his love for acting at a young age. Later on, he acted in well-known plays including “Ek Aur Abhimanyu” and the stage version of Piyush Mishra’s “Jab Shahar Hamara Sota Hai” called “Mumbai by the Sea” in 2025. With each performance, Ashiesh, a trained actor from Anupam Kher’s well-known “Actor Prepares,” improves and elevates his skill.

He has played a wide variety of roles in movies, TV shows, and over-the-top (OTT) media. In addition to cameos as a cricket commentator in “Test” and Raja Janak in “Singham Again,” his upcoming film credits include “Nikam” from Maddock Film as a government officer and “Daayra” from Junglee Pictures as the rape victim’s neighbor. He has played a variety of roles in popular television series, including Gum Hai Kisike Pyaar Mein, Kyunki Saas Maa Bahu Beti Hoti Hai, Swaraj, Ek Mahanayak: Dr. B R Ambedkar, Megha Barsenge, Crime World, and Savdhaan India. His work also includes short films like Continuity and Asthi Visarjan, where he gave strong and deeply felt performances, and music videos like Sukhwinder Singh’s Nagini.
