Plot
The time that Kalyan (Srikanth) spends is daydreaming about marriage. He loses his sight in an accident while traveling by bus to Pattiseema (West Godavari District) to accept a promotion as a bank manager.
After recuperating for three months, he rejoins his friend Ramesh (Rajendra Prasad) at Pattiseema. He is drawn to Meghamala (Soundarya), who lives in the house across from him, since she shows him affection.
Unintentionally, Kalyan stumbles onto Meghamala’s personal journal one day, where she writes the words “I Love You.” He believes she is in love with him and wants to marry her because of her acts.
Meghamala refuses Kalyan when he and his parents visit her home to discuss marriage, indicating that her true attraction to him is based only on his attractiveness. She informs him about her tragic relationship with Indian Army Major Srinivas (Nagarjuna).
From the beginning, they fall in love, but Meghamala’s shyness prevents her from expressing her feelings to Srinivas, despite his attempts to encourage her to do so and his desire for Meghamala to pop the question. When Srinivas returns from his leave soon, their parents will have approved of their love and decided to marry them.
His eyes were implanted into Kalyan after he perished in the same tragedy while traveling. She is therefore feeling bad right now for not telling Srinivas how she felt before he passed away. In order to remember him eternally, she is writing an inscription of “I Love You” and has chosen to remain unmarried indefinitely.
She was affectionate toward Kalyan because, as she later learned, Srinivas’ gaze had switched to him. Kalyan is shocked by this information, but he doesn’t decide to give up and continues to try to get closer to her. After that, Kalyan attempts a number of ridiculous methods to pursue her with Ramesh’s help, which results in amusing scenarios, but it’s all in vain.
Eventually, he tries to persuade her to marry him just for the sake of his eyes, but Meghamala turns down his proposal Later, Meghamala makes the decision to marry Kalyan, and in order to do so, she writes a letter on his behalf to his parents accepting the marriage proposal that Srilakshmi (Ravali) has chosen for him.
When Kalyan gets home, the planning for his wedding is already on. Meghamala shows up for the wedding as well, but she is sent away by Kalyan’s parents. She knows that Kalyan had called off the wedding and that Ramesh had wed Srilakshmi when she sees him the next day at the house across from her. As the film closes, Kalyan is waiting hopefullly for Meghamala’s love while she takes care of his eyes.
