P. G. Muthiah is an Indian professional involved in directing, cinematography, and film production, primarily active in the Tamil film industry.
Muthiah commenced his career as a cinematographer, contributing to films such as “Poo” (2008), which received Tamil Nadu state awards, and “Kanden Kadhalai” (2009). He often collaborated on projects directed by R. Kannan. In 2015, Muthiah made a shift into film production, financing three low-budget drama films – “Raja Manthiri” (2016) and “Peechankai” (2017) – through his studio, PG Media Works. In 2018, he took on the roles of director and producer for the film “Madura Veeran,” featuring Samuthirakani and Shanmuga Pandian.
