Story:

Arnab Chatterjee is the director and producer of the 2025 Indian Hindi-language romantic-thriller Murderbaad, which stars Nakul Roshan Sahdev and Kanikka Kapur. The release date is July 18, 2025.

Murderbaad is not your typical whodunit; rather, it is a twisted, dark, and gritty atmospheric slow-burn that gradually spirals into a gripping maze of human psychology, hidden motives, and cultural undertones. The movie begins in Jaipur, where newly employed tour guide Jayesh Madnani (Nakul Roshan Sahdev) develops feelings for NRI traveler Isabelle (Kanikka Kapur). When a fellow traveler disappears and is subsequently discovered dead under mysterious circumstances, an otherwise harmless and genuine attraction on a picturesque voyage takes a dark turn. At this point, the action accelerates, switching between Rajasthan and North Bengal, and the story takes an exciting turn that culminates in an unexpected and eerie finale.
