Manoj K. Jayan, Radhika of Appan fame, KPAC Leela, Prashanth Murali, Ganga Meera, and Ashwathy Manoharan will all play important roles in Lovely in addition to Mathew Thomas.

Dileesh Karunakaran, formerly known as Dileesh Nair, is the film’s director. Following his first directing effort, Tamaar Padaar (2014), which starred Baburaj and Chemban Vinod Jose in the key roles, Dileesh will return to the director’s chair with Lovely. The script for Aashiq Abu’s Salt N’ Pepper was also co-written by Dileesh and Syam Pushkaran.

Aashiq Abu, the film’s cinematographer, was once again seen working with Dileesh in Lovely. In addition, Aashiq Abu served as the cinematographer for his Christmas 2024 release, Rifle Club, which he directed. His first film as a cinematographer was Lovely, even though Rifle Club came out first.
