Aashiq Abu is an actor, producer, and director from India. He was born in 1978 to C.M. Abu and Jameela Abu in Kochi, Keala. Aashiq Abu completed his education at Maharajas College in Ernakulam, where he spent several years actively participating in the student union. In 2013, he wed Malayalam actress Rima Kallingal. After working for a few years as director Kamal’s assistant, Aashiq Abu produced his debut film, “Daddy Cool,” in 2009. His most well-known films are “Salt N’ Pepper” (2011) and “22 Female Kottayam” (2012), both of which were eventually translated into various languages. Aashiq Abu has also worked on a few commercials.
