Laughing Buddha

Story:

M. Bharath Raj is the writer and director of the 2024 Kannada-language comedy play Laughing Buddha. Under the Rishab Shetty Films brand, Rishab Shetty is the film’s producer. Diganth, Sundar Raj, Teju Belawadi, and Pramod Shetty are the film’s main actors. In his Kannada debut, Vishnu Vijay composed the soundtrack, K. M. Prakash edited it, and S. Chandrasekaran handled the cinematography.  Both critics and viewers gave the movie relatively excellent reviews when it was released on August 30, 2024.

The movie follows a kind police officer who loves food, family, and his job in that order, and the mayhem that breaks out when he learns that his weight may cause him to lose his position. Will he be able to lose weight in time to rejoin the police force as he wants to?
