Indian actor Diganth Manchale, better known by his stage name Diganth, was born on December 28, 1983, and he primarily performs in Kannada movies. Diganth is well known for his role in Gaalipata (2008), but he made his acting debut in Miss California (2006). In addition to being nominated for four Filmfare Awards South, he has won two South Indian International Movie Awards.
Diganth’s performances in Manasaare (2009), Pancharangi (2010), and Katheyondu Shuruvagide (2018) earned him a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor in Kannada. With hits like Lifeu Ishtene (2011), Parijatha (2012), Minchagi Nee Baralu (2015), Chowka (2017), Happy New Year (2017), Gaalipata 2 (2022), Thimayya & Thimayya (2022), Bachelor Party (2024), and Marigold (2024), he further solidified his position as a top actor in Kannada cinema.
Sagara, Karnataka, is where Diganth Manchale was born. He finished his pre-university education at Tunga Mahavidyalaya in Thirthahalli and his schooling in Seva Bharathi. His mother is Mallika, while his father, Krishnamurthy, is a professor. Akash Manchale is Diganth’s older brother. Prior to entering the Kannada film business in 2006, he worked as a model and earned his bachelor’s degree in commerce from Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College, which is a division of Jain University in Bengaluru.
