He is notably recognized as the father of Telugu actor Nithiin, renowned for his role in the well-received film “Jayam.” Sudhakar initiated his career in the realm of cinema as a cinematographer, amassing an extensive portfolio that includes works such as “Nippulanti Manishi” (1986), “Raktabhishekam” (1988), “Bazaar Rowdy” (1988), “Vicky Daada” (1989), “Abbai Gari Pelli” (1997), “Gundagardi” (1997), “Manasara” (2010), “8AM Number Veedu” (2011), “Avunu” (2012), and more. His remarkable skills were acknowledged with the Nandi Award for Best Cinematographer for his work in the 2009 Telugu thriller “Amaravathi,” directed by Ravi Babu.
