Story:

Humshakals is a Hindi-language comedy directed by Sajid Khan and produced by Vashu Bhagnani. The film features Saif Ali Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Ram Kapoor, Tamannaah Bhatia, Esha Gupta, and Bipasha Basu in lead roles, with supporting performances by Satish Shah, Nawab Shah, Chunky Pandey, and Darshan Jariwala.

In a unique twist, Khan, Deshmukh, and Kapoor each play three different characters, making a total of nine roles. The soundtrack was composed by Himesh Reshammiya, with cinematography by Ravi Yadav and editing by Bunty Nagi. The film was shot in various international locations and co-produced by Fox Star Studios.

The plot revolves around Ashok and Kumar, who are sent to a mental hospital due to their uncle’s scheming. When a doctor becomes convinced of their sanity, she accidentally releases their lookalikes instead.

Humshakals was released worldwide on June 20, 2014. It received negative reviews from critics and grossed ₹86.60 crore at the box office against a budget of ₹64 crore, failing to break even.
