The Indian cinematographer Ravi Yadav is well-known for his collaborations with filmmakers Abbas-Mustan and R. K. Selvamani in the Tamil and Hindi film industries, respectively. Even before receiving his diploma in cinematography from the MGR Film Institute in Chennai, he began working as a cinematographer for motion pictures.

He went on to produce two Tamil movies before entering Bollywood.
