Story:

“Disco Raja” is a 2020 Indian Telugu sci-fi action film directed by Vi Anand and produced by Ram Talluri for SRT Entertainment. It features Ravi Teja in a dual role and stars Bobby Simha, Payal Rajput, Nabha Natesh, Tanya Hope, Sunil, and Vennela Kishore. The movie’s music is composed by S. Thaman, with Karthik Ghattamaneni handling cinematography and Shravan Katikaneni taking care of the editing.

The storyline revolves around a group of scientists who make use of a groundbreaking discovery to resurrect a music-loving gangster after his murder, using his son as an experiment subject.

Upon its theatrical release on January 24, 2020, “Disco Raja” garnered positive reviews from critics, especially for Ravi Teja’s performance, action sequences, music, and background score. However, the film did not fare well at the box office, leading to the cancellation of plans for a sequel.

In the remote Ladakh mountains, a severely injured man, Vasu, left for dead, is discovered frozen by an expedition team. He’s taken to the “Re-Live lab,” where Dr. Shishir introduces a technology capable of reviving the deceased.

After the experiment, Vasu awakens with amnesia. His girlfriend Nabha explains his life in Delhi, where he handled various jobs and sought his stepbrother Kaushik, who disappeared with the family’s money. Vasu’s family, he later learns, comprises orphans who grew up together.

As Vasu tries to regain his memories, he becomes Disco Raj, a gangster with a tumultuous history, including a vendetta with Sethu, a rival gangster. Vasu’s past unfolds, involving love, betrayal, and revenge. The story culminates with a complex showdown, revealing shocking truths and ultimately reconciling Vasu with his past and his family.
