Biography:

Vi Anand is an Indian film director and screenwriter known for his work primarily in the Telugu film industry. He gained recognition for his innovative and unique storytelling style. Anand made his directorial debut with the film “Tiger” in 2015, which featured actor Sundeep Kishan in the lead role.

Anand began working with director AR Murugadoss as an assistant director in the year 2008. In 2014, he made his feature film debut with Hrudayam Ekkadunnadi. He made his debut as a filmmaker in the Tamil film industry that same year with the science fiction drama Appuchi Gramam. He was the director of the Telugu action comedy Tiger (2015), which starred Sundeep Kishan. The reviewers gave the movie Tiger high marks, and Anand was praised for the screenplay. Vi Anand went on to develop and direct the supernatural romance thriller Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada, which starred Nikhil Siddharth, Hebah Patel, Nandita Swetha, and Avika Gor in the key parts, following the success of the Telugu version of Tiger. The movie premiered on November 18, 2016.

He further established his directorial identity with movies like “Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada” (2016), a supernatural thriller, and “Okka Kshanam” (2017), a science fiction romantic thriller. Both films received positive reviews for their intriguing plots and narrative twists.

Allu Sirish, Seerat Kapoor, and Surbhi feature in his most recent science fiction drama, Okka Kshanam, which he also directed. The story revolves around a parallel life concept in which the hero battles against time, fate, and his own destiny. On December 28, 2017, the movie had its global premiere to mixed reviews from critics and viewers.

Later He did Disco Raja(2020), starring as Ravi Teja, which is a sci-fi movie and marked as flop at Box-Office. Now he is coming up with Sundeep Kishan and Varsha Bollama, which is titled as “Ooru Peru Bhairavakona” .
