TheatreThe action-comedy “Comrade Kalyan,” which was presented by Kona Venkat and directed by Janakiram Marella, is planned to include Tollywood actor Sree Vishnu. Under the auspices of Skanda Vahana Motion Pictures LLP, Venkata Krishna Karnati and Seetha Karnati are producing the movie.
The drama, which is set in the Andhra-Odisha border village of Madugula in 1992, centers on the search for Comrade Kalyan, a Naxalite leader. A twist where Kalyan himself pastes a wanted poster offering a reward for his capture is hinted at in the teaser. The movie promises humor, romance, and oddball comedic moments despite its somber setting.
Alongside Mahima Nambiar, Radhika Sarathkumar, Shine Tom Chacko, and Upendra Limaye, Sree Vishnu plays two roles in the movie. Behind the scenes, Chota K Prasad is in charge of editing, Sai Sriram is in charge of cinematography, and Vijay Bulganin is in charge of music.
Filming is now halfway over, and “Comrade Kalyan” looks to be an entertaining action-comedy that fans will enjoy.
