Venkatesh, as Chintakayala Ravi, works at the Cyber Wave bar in New York. Along with his three other friends who work as waiters at the same bar, he is the head server. Because he came to the US with the goal of becoming a software professional, he has a special place in his heart for software engineers. But unforeseen events kept him from accomplishing that aim.
His mother Seshamamba (Lakshmi) boasts to everyone in her Andhra Pradesh village about her son’s exceptional career as a software engineer in the United States. Ravi is deeply affected by a sentiment; he keeps telling his mother the charming falsehood that he is a software engineer in America just to avoid upsetting her.
But when Seshamamba prepares to wed her son to Lavanya (Mamta Mohandas), a girl from the village, issues arise because Lavanya accepts Seshamamba’s claim that Ravi is a software engineer. So, the truth about Ravi—that he works as a bar waiter—is revealed when Lavanya approaches her childhood friend Sunitha (Anushka) to ask about him.
When her family finds out that Ravi’s family lied to them, they become enraged and humiliate Ravi when he shows up in the village for his betrothal. The rest of the story is formed by what occurs later. He is bothering Sunitha because she was misinformed about Ravi. She later realized how admirable Ravi is after he comes to her father’s rescue.
As the film progresses, Ravi and Sunitha grow close friends, and Ravi makes plans to find Sunitha a husband. Her goal is to reunite with Ravi and Lavanya, but it doesn’t transpire. While Srikanth (Venu Thottempudi) was in America, Ravi had saved his life. When Srikanth visits Lavanya’s parents, he makes an effort to persuade them by highlighting Ravi’s admirable qualities. Unbeknownst to Ravi and Sunitha until after Ravi’s marriage to Lavanya, Ravi and Sunitha fall in love with one another as Srikanth works with Lavanya’s parents regarding Ravi’s marriage with Lavanya. After learning the truth, Ravi’s relatives
