Plot
SRK operates as a real estate contractor, utilizing force to encroach on land and generate profits. His rival, Gopala Krishna “GK,” heads GK Constructions and holds influence in both handling goons and the real estate business. GK seeks an MBA graduate as his personal secretary and, after unsuccessful applications, encounters Anuradha “Anu,” deeming her suitable for the role. Despite his tough demeanor as a ‘Boss,’ GK cares for his staff. During a Malaysia trip, Anu and GK grow closer, leading to Anu falling for him. However, a petty issue results in Anu facing GK’s wrath. She decides to resign, prompting GK to conduct interviews for a new secretary, ultimately selecting Sruthi.
It’s revealed that SRK orchestrated Sruthi’s placement in GK’s office. Sruthi steals a tender file to secure her father’s release from a false case, but instead of giving it to SRK, she demands her father’s freedom. Ignoring her plea, the deceitful SRK refuses to listen. Anu tries to escape but is saved by GK, who is injured during the encounter. Anu, prioritizing GK’s ambitions, files the tender to save him from substantial losses. Grateful, GK is about to express his thanks when Anu confesses her love. However, GK reveals his past love for Sanjana, whom he married, and who tragically died in a tsunami. Though GK has some feelings for Anu, he cannot replace Sanjana and politely rejects her love. Anu discovers that Sruthi was hired to be her assistant.
Later, Sanjana’s mother, Sumitra, dies in Malaysia, expressing her dying wish for GK to marry Anu. Viswanath, Sanjana’s husband, conveys the wish, and GK senses that Sanjana wanted the same. Over time, GK realizes his feelings for Anu and returns to India. SRK’s men attack GK, and he gets stabbed, but he intervenes in Anu’s marriage and reunites with her.
