Biography:

Bobo Shashi, also known as Bobo Sasii, is an Indian film composer and singer with a rich musical background. Born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, he hails from a musically influential family. His father, Murali, is a renowned composer who collaborates with his brother Sabesh as Sabesh-Murali, and his uncle, Deva, is a popular music composer. Shashi’s cousins include actor Jai and composer Srikanth Deva.

Shashi began his career as a composer with the Tamil film “Kulir 100°” in 2009, which earned critical acclaim for its soundtrack. Before venturing into film composition, he gained experience by assisting various Indian film composers, including Srikanth Deva, Sabesh-Murali, Deva, and Vidyasagar. Following his Tamil debut, he expanded his work to Telugu cinema, composing music for films like “Bindaas” and “Thakita Thakita.”

Over the years, Shashi has continued to contribute his musical talents to the Indian film industry. Notable projects in his filmography include “Uu Kodathara? Ulikki Padathara?” in 2012, “Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru” in 2016, “Jarugandi” in 2018, and “Hostel” in 2022. His diverse musical background and contributions to various regional cinema make him a noteworthy figure in the world of Indian film music.
