Story:

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is a Hindi-language romantic comedy-drama that marks a coming-of-age tale, directed by Ayan Mukerji. Written by Mukerji and Hussain Dalal, edited by Akiv Ali, and produced by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, along with Kalki Koechlin and Aditya Roy Kapur. The soundtrack, composed by Pritam with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya and Kumaar, became an instant hit, with every song topping the charts.

The story follows a group of eleven friends who meet during CPT classes in Delhi. Naina falls in love with Bunny but keeps her feelings to herself. Their paths diverge, only to cross again at a friend’s wedding.

Released on May 31, 2013, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani was a major box-office success and received widespread acclaim. Filmed on a budget of ₹40 crore, the movie was shot in diverse locations including Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Paris, Mumbai, and Kashmir from March 2012 to January 2013.
It ranks as the 48th highest-grossing Indian film of all time and was the third to cross ₹300 crore worldwide, following “3 Idiots” (2009) and “Ek Tha Tiger” (2012).
