Kunaal Roy Kapur

Biography:

Indian actor Kunaal Roy Kapur was born on February 13, 1979. He is well recognized for his parts in TVF Tripling (2016–2022), Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013), and Delhi Belly (2011).

Kunaal is descended from a mixed-race Hindu Punjabi and Indian Jewish family. Film producer Raghupat Roy Kapur (also known as Raghupat Rai Kapoor), a Hindu from the Punjabi Khatri caste, was his paternal grandfather.

Kumud Roy Kapur was Kunaal’s father, and Salome Roy Kapur is his mother, and they are both of Indian Jewish heritage. Salome Roy Kapoor is a dancer, choreographer, stage director, and former Miss India. Her parents, Sam and Ruby Aaron, were among the first recognized instructors of ballroom and Latin American dance in India.

The second of three brothers is Kunaal. Aditya Roy Kapu is his younger brother, and Siddharth Roy Kapur is the CEO of UTV and Disney India. Siddharth, Kunaal’s brother, is the husband of actress Vidya Balan.

Since 2005, Kunaal has been wed to Shayonti Salvi. Shayonti is descended from a mixed Maharashtrian and Sindhi family. The pair has a daughter called Shanaz and a boy named Zahaan.
