Story:

“Srimanthudu” is a 2015 Telugu-language action drama film directed by Koratala Siva and produced by Y. Naveen, Y. Ravi Shankar, and C. V. Mohan under the banner Mythri Movie Makers. The film features superstar Mahesh Babu and actress Shruti Haasan in the lead roles, with an ensemble cast that includes Jagapathi Babu, Rajendra Prasad, Sampath Raj, and others.

The story revolves around Harsha Vardhan (played by Mahesh Babu), a wealthy and successful businessman based in Milan, Italy. Despite his opulent lifestyle, he remains humble and down-to-earth, caring for the well-being of those around him. He comes across Charuseela (played by Shruti Haasan), a young woman from a village in India, and falls in love with her.

Curious about his roots, Harsha travels to India to visit Charuseela’s village. During his visit, he discovers the harsh realities faced by the villagers due to exploitation by a corrupt politician named Vasudev Reddy (played by Jagapathi Babu). Harsha decides to adopt the village and take the responsibility of transforming it into a self-sufficient and prosperous place.

He faces various challenges, including opposition from Vasudev Reddy and his henchmen. However, Harsha is determined to bring positive change and uplift the lives of the villagers. He takes the initiative to build essential infrastructure, provide education, and create job opportunities for the villagers.

As Harsha gets deeply involved in the village’s development, he also learns about his own family’s past and the connection his father had with the village. This revelation adds emotional depth to the story.
