Story:

“LIE: Love Intelligence Enmity” is a 2017 Indian Telugu-language action thriller directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, featuring Nithiin, Arjun Sarja, and debutante Megha Akash. The film’s soundtrack was composed by Mani Sharma.

Released on August 11, 2017, the movie received mixed reviews, praised for performances, cinematography, and technical aspects but criticized for screenplay, direction, and certain plot elements. Despite the appreciation, the film faced commercial failure, incurring losses of up to 25 Cr.

The narrative kicks off with police informer Bharadwaj receiving intel on criminal Padmanabham’s whereabouts. As the National Investigation Agency (NIA) endeavors to capture the elusive Padmanabham, the story unravels a complex plot involving a good-for-nothing named Sathyam and a stranger, Chaitra, who find themselves in Las Vegas, bound by a pact to only lie to each other. Their relationship evolves through a series of beautiful lies.

Meanwhile, the frustrated NIA officer Bharadwaj is determined to crack Padmanabham’s identity, enlisting the help of officer Aadi. The mission, codenamed Sholay, centers on discovering Padmanabham’s hideout based on a suit he’s assumed to be obsessed with. Unbeknownst to them, Sathyam is intricately linked to the operation, revealing his connection in due course.

The film explores the race against time as characters converge in pursuit of Padmanabham. Sathyam, a key player in the mission, ultimately takes matters into his own hands, resulting in the demise of the elusive criminal. Despite the intricacies of the plot, the film grapples with its shortcomings, particularly in the critical reception and commercial performance.
