Raghavapudi’s cinematic journey began as an assistant director, where he honed his skills and gained valuable experience working on movies like “Aithe,” “Okkadunnadu,” and “Anukokunda Oka Roju,” where he served as an associate director under the guidance of director Chandra Sekhar Yeleti. These early experiences allowed him to understand the intricacies of filmmaking and storytelling.

His directorial debut came with the film “Andala Rakshasi,” marking the beginning of his creative journey as a filmmaker. This film showcased his ability to craft compelling narratives and work with actors to bring his vision to life on the big screen.

In addition to feature films, Raghavapudi has also ventured into the realm of short films, co-directing “I Am Famous.” This diversification highlights his commitment to storytelling across various formats.

In 2022, Hanumanth Rao Raghavapudi added another feather to his cap with the release of “Sita Ramam,” a period drama set in 1964, starring Dulquer Salman. Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, this film further showcased Raghavapudi’s versatility as a director, as he ventured into a different genre and time period, highlighting his ability to adapt and excel in various storytelling styles.
