Khiladi

Story:

“Khiladi” is a 2022 Indian Telugu action thriller movie written and directed by Ramesh Varma. It was co-produced by Ramesh Varma and Satyanarayana Koneru under A Studios. The film features a star-studded cast including Ravi Teja, Arjun Sarja, Unni Mukundan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Dimple Hayathi, Thakur Anoop Singh, Sachin Khedekar, and Nikitin Dheer.

Originally slated for release on May 28, 2021, the film’s launch was indefinitely postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India. The movie’s music, both soundtrack and score, was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. It eventually hit theaters, along with a Hindi dubbed version, on February 11, 2022. However, “Khiladi” received mixed to negative reviews from critics and did not perform well at the box office.

Bala Singham, a criminal kingpin, arranges for a shipment of ₹10,000 crore to be sent to India, intending to bribe the MLAs to install his father, Guru Singham, as the next Chief Minister. Pooja, a criminologist conducting research, discovers the case of Mohan Gandhi, a man convicted of murdering his entire family, except for his daughter.

She visits him in prison, but he initially declines to speak with her. Witnessing the strong bond between Gandhi and his daughter, Pooja makes a promise to assist him in securing bail in exchange for him sharing his story, a deal to which Gandhi eventually agrees.
