TheatreJigra, which translates to “Courage,” is an upcoming action thriller film in Hindi that is directed by Vasan Bala and co-written by Debashish Irengbam. Starring Vedang Raina and Alia Bhatt, it is produced by Dharma Productions and Eternal Sunshine Productions under the direction of Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, and Soumen Mishra.
Jigra is slated to open in theaters everywhere on October 11, 2024, which falls on Vijayadashami. It will have a Telugu dubbing, and Asian Suresh Entertainment’s Rana Daggubati will present it. After a rough upbringing, Satya, a young lady, is left with her brother Ankur, who is being held captive and subjected to torture in a foreign jail. Satya has no choice but to become a hero and try the unimaginable—breaking him out of prison and getting him to safety.
