Indian actress Sai Dheena began making appearances in Tamil-language movies in 2004. In the films Vaandu (2019), Thimiru Pudichavan (2018), and Attu (2017), he portrayed the antagonist. He and Atlee work together frequently.
Sai Dheena started her career as a sign artist and later worked for the railroads. She then went on to play supporting characters and henchmen in movies. He was discovered by actor Kamal Haasan while working as an extra henchman on the movie Virumaandi (2004), where he made his acting debut as a jail warden. Since then, he has acted in other movies, such as Vetrimaaran’s Vada Chennai (2018), Atlee’s Theri (2016), and Shankar’s Enthiran (2010). He played Thimiru Pudichavan’s antagonist (2018).
As to the New Indian Express critic’s review of the movie Sagaa (2019), he “plays the role with meticulous intensity”.
The media took notice of Dheena in 2017 for her financial support to Kaadhal (2004) actor Viruchagakanth, also known as Pallu Babu. In Chennai, Viruchagakanth had been begging at temples. The actor was able to receive assistance from Dheena, Mohan, and actor Abi Saravanan. Dheena provided rice, wheat, and sambar to 250 families during the coronavirus outbreak.
