Biography:

Rangammal was an actress, known for Seevalaperi Pandi (1994), Pattathu Yaanai (2013) and Alai Payuthey (2000). She died on 29 April 2022 in Coimbatore, Teleguyupalyam, India.

Renowned Tamil film actress K. R. Rangammal, often known as KR Rangamma, passed away on April 29, 2022. He has appeared in over 500 Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi language films in supporting roles. Her performance as Patti, opposite Vadivelu, in the comedy Muniyandi Vilankiyal Third Year in 2008 won her praise from the audience. Additionally, he performed in the short film Kuttimma.

K. R. Rangamma is from the Annur, Telangupalayam, district of Coimbatore. His mother was Ponnammal, and his father was Nalli Chettiar. The four younger sisters of Rangamma.

Due to his interest in movies, he also acted in stage plays. M. G. He made his debut in the Tamil film industry with the movie Arin Kiyar . He has acted in comedy and character roles with many leading actors of Tamil film industry including Sivaji Ganesan , Kamal Haasan , Rajinikanth , Ajith Kumar and Vijay .

Rangamma’s husband Rangasamy was a police officer. He passed away on 21 December 1987. (He died 2 days before actor MGR’s death) They had 6 daughters and 6 sons. In her final days, without the support of her children, she sold handkerchiefs and handicrafts on the Marina beach for food. Later due to old age and poverty he returned to his hometown Telangupalayam
