Rohit Shetty, born on March 14, 1974, is a multifaceted Indian professional involved in various aspects of the Hindi film industry. He serves as a film director, stuntman, writer, producer, and television host. He is well-recognized in the world of Hindi cinema and is known for his movies, which often blend action, comedy, and masala film elements.

His breakthrough in the industry occurred with the comedy film “Golmaal” in 2006, featuring actors like Ajay Devgn and Arshad Warsi. This film turned out to be a sleeper hit, and he continued its success with subsequent installments in the “Golmaal” franchise, including “Golmaal Returns” (2008) and “Golmaal 3” (2010), both of which became some of the highest-grossing films of their respective years.

Shetty also ventured into the action genre with “Singham” in 2011, returning to it after an eight-year gap since his debut action thriller “Zameen.” “Singham,” starring Ajay Devgn, became a significant box office success and marked the beginning of the Cop Universe franchise.
