Story:

“Cirkus” is a 2022 Indian comedy film directed and produced by Rohit Shetty. It stars Ranveer Singh and Varun Sharma in dual roles, along with Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, Johny Lever, and Sanjay Mishra. The story revolves around two sets of identical twins who were separated at birth and meet as adults.

The movie is the fifth installment of the Golmaal franchise and serves as a spin-off to the 2017 film “Golmaal Again.” It’s also a remake of the 1982 Hindi film “Angoor,” which was based on William Shakespeare’s play “The Comedy of Errors.”

In “Cirkus,” two pairs of twins, named Roy and Joy, are separated by an orphanage director in 1944. One pair grows up in Ooty and runs a circus, while the other becomes wealthy industrialists. Roy 1 has a unique connection with electricity, while Roy 2 suffers electric shocks whenever Roy 1 is around electricity.

The story moves forward 30 years, where both pairs encounter various misunderstandings and confusion, leading to comedic situations. Eventually, they discover their true identities and reconcile, with Roy 1 and his wife adopting a child from the orphanage.
