Biography:

Ram Pothineni, popularly known as Ram, is an Indian actor who primarily works in the Telugu film industry. He was born on May 15, 1988, in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, to Murali Mohan Pothineni, a film producer and his mother’s name is Padmasree. Ram comes from a family with a strong film background, as his uncle, Sravanthi Ravi Kishore, is also a film producer. He has a brother Krishna Chaitanya Pothineni and a sister Madhu Smitha Pothineni. 

Ram made his acting debut with the film “Devadasu” in 2006, directed by Y.V.S. Chowdary. The film was a commercial success, and Ram received the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South for his performance. He instantly gained popularity among the audience for his energetic and youthful portrayal.

Following his successful debut, Ram acted in several films, showcasing his versatility as an actor. Some of his notable movies include “Ready” (2008), “Ganesh Just Ganesh” (2009), and “Kandireega” (2011). These films solidified his position as a bankable actor and established his fan base.
