Theatre“Ongole Githa” is a 2013 Indian Telugu action-comedy film written and directed by Bhaskar and produced by B. V. S. N. Prasad under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra. The movie features Ram Pothineni and Kriti Kharbanda in lead roles, with a soundtrack composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar. Additionally, Mani Sharma contributed one song and provided the background score for the film.
Upon its release on February 1, 2013, the film received negative reviews from critics and turned out to be a commercial disappointment at the box office. It was subsequently dubbed into Hindi as “Mahaveer No. 1” in 2014 and into Tamil as “Kaariyaavadhi.”
The film begins with Narayana and his son escaping from a menacing gangster, Durga, who seeks their demise. It then shifts to 2001, introducing a resourceful orphan named White, who enters the Ongole market.
His business acumen captures the attention of many, including the revered market chairman, Adikeshavulu. White establishes himself as a successful businessman. Over the years, White falls for Sandhya, Adikeshavulu’s daughter.
As the market faces a threat of being bought by an MLA, Adikeshavulu’s true nature is revealed. A complex web of deceit unfolds, leading to White’s revelation as Dorababu, and his quest for revenge against Adikeshavulu.
The film climaxes with a dramatic showdown, exposing Adikeshavulu’s crimes and reinstating justice in the market.
