Early Life:
Nivin was born on October 11, 1984, in Aluva, Ernakulam, into a Suriyani Nasrani Catholic family. Pauly Bonaventure, Nivin’s father, and Thressiamma Pauly, his mother, were both employed in Aarau, Switzerland. As a child, Nivin lived in Kerala. At the Federal Institute of Science and Technology (FISAT), Angamaly, he earned a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics & Communication Engineering in 2006.
Nivin worked as a software developer at Infosys in Bangalore from 2006 to 2008 thanks to campus placements. After his father passed away, he did, however, resign and go back home.
On August 28, 2010, he wed Rinna Joy, his college love, in St. Dominic’s Church in Aluva. At FISAT, they were classmates. They have a daughter and a boy.
Film career:
In Vineeth Sreenivasan’s Malarvaadi Arts Club casting, Nivin was given the character of Prakashan, making his acting debut. After that, he appeared in the movie The Metro and Seventies and made brief appearances in the films Traffic and Spanish Masala. He appeared in the viral YouTube hit Nenjodu Cherthu, which The Hindu referred to as “hugely popular” and from the album Yuvvh.
His acting debut happened in the 2012 movie Thattathin Marayathu, which went on to become the year’s biggest blockbuster. He took on the part of Vinod, a Hindu teenager who was hopelessly in love with a Muslim girl named Ayesha. This was Vineeth Sreenivasan’s second film to direct, and it marked a turning point in Nivin’s acting career, making him “the current youth sensation” and a highly sought-after performer. This further cemented his status as one of the best actors in Malayalam cinema. Directors like Sathyan Anthikad, Rajesh Pillai, Aashiq Abu, and Shyamaprasad among others made proposals to him.
With the bilingual movie Neram, Nivin made his Tamil acting debut. He starred in Sunil Ibrahim’s Arikil Oraal and 5 Sundarikal in Malayalam movies in 2013. Alphonse Puthren made his directorial debut with this movie, which is notable for its non-linear script. He also played the role of a stylish playboy who was born in London in Shyamaprasad’s English: An Autumn in London. He portrayed the part of Ichcha, a café server, in the latter psychological thriller. He appeared in the Sameer Thahir-directed episode of 5 Sundarikal called “Isha”.
Then he performed in Premam, portraying George David. As one of the highest-grossing Malayalam films, it made over 600 million dollars worldwide, launching him into the ’50-crore club’.The movie had a 300-day theatrical run and earned 2 crores from Tamil Nadu’s box office, making it the state’s highest-grossing Malayalam movie at the time.[Reference needed] The 100 Best Performances of the Decade list by the Film Companion included Nivin’s portrayal of George. The Film Companion praised his portrayal, saying that it featured “charm, mischief, and most impressively, vulnerability.
Nivin will soon be featured in the Tamil films Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai and Haneef Adeni’s Ramachandra Boss& Co. Action Hero Biju 2, Gangster of Mundanmala, and Shekara Varma Rajavu are among his other future films. Additionally, he has revealed a brand-new endeavor called Dear Students that will be made under his label.
