Biography:

Model and actress Catherine Tresa Alexander was born in India on September 10, 1989. Her career was primarily launched in Tamil and Telugu movies. She made her acting debut in the Kannada movie Shankar IPS in 2010.

She has appeared in hit movies including Kalakalappu 2 (2018), Nene Raju Nene Mantri (2017), Sarrainodu (2016), and The Godfather (2012).

Frank Mario Alexander and Tresa Alexander, both of Malay descent, gave birth to Catherine Tresa in Dubai. She was a Christian from birth. She completed her high school studies in Dubai before relocating to Bangalore for college.[5][6] She trained in debate, singing, dancing, ice skating, and piano playing while she was in school since she says she is “good at anything I put my mind to.” Catherine worked as a volunteer for Emirates Environment in Dubai. Catherine began modeling for fashion design graduate students when she was 14 years old. She worked as a model for Deccan Chronicle, Josco Jewellers, Fast Track, Nalli Silks, and Chennai Silks after moving to India. Along with Prasad Bidapa, she also took photos for Srikantadatta Wodeyar’s Maharaja Calendar.

In the 2010 Kannada film Shankar IPS, which starred Duniya Vijay, Catherine made her acting debut. In the subsequent Malayalam movies The Thriller and Uppukandam Brothers: Back in Action, Catherine played the lead role. She performed in the Kannada movie Vishnu in 2011, and she later remarked that the portrayal was “equally opposite to her real life.”
