Story:

In Nirmal Pathak Ki Ghar Wapsi, having spent most of his life in Delhi, Nirmal Pathak goes back to his ancestral village in Bihar after 24 long years. Enthusiastic about reconnecting with his heritage and family, at first he feels delighted about the simplicity of life in the village and the hospitality it offers. Soon, however, he starts experiencing the harsh truth of caste discrimination, patriarchy, social inequality, and outdated traditions. Intent on making a change, Nirmal is left in a clash between his modern-day views and an established system. Through family ties, social strife, and personal connections, the series examines the themes of identity and belonging in rural India.
