Story:

Pushkar-Gayathri created the 2026 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller television series Exam for Amazon Prime Video. A. Sarkunam, famous for Kalavani and Vaagai Sooda Vaa, directed and wrote the screenplay. The drama is on ambition, morality, and the effects of structural injustice and centers on a young woman with an enigmatic past. Dushara Vijayan, Aditi Balan, Abbas, and Akash Venkatesan make up the main cast of the show. It has seven episodes and debuted on May 15, 2026.

The story revolves around a vast education scam run by dishonest elites who steal money from candidates, alter rankings, and leak question papers. Jhansi’s ultimate objective is to remove the system’s mastermind, who is responsible for this institutional decay.

The Infiltration: In order to take over the Thykara police station, Jhansi kidnaps Maramalli (Aditi Balan), a recently assigned police officer, and assumes her identity.

The Investigation: Jhansi has ten days to reveal fake candidates, leaked documents, and bribery networks throughout government agencies before she is exposed. She is working undercover with the assistance of a motley crew of former scam victims.

Moral and Ethical Costs: The plot dives deeply into the moral and emotional toll the scam takes on aspirational kids as well as the defiance necessary to oppose an unfair system, going beyond the thriller mechanics.
