Sharmila Thapa

Biography:

Indian actress and television presenter Sharmila Thapa is descended from Nepal. Among the most well-liked presenters in the Tamil TV industry is her. Narayangat, Bharatpur, Nepal is the birthplace of Sharmila. Anna Adarsh College for Women, located in Anna Nagar, Chennai, awarded her a degree in Tourism and Travel Management.

In 2009, Sharmila relocated to Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Union of India. In the beginning of her career, Sharmila co-hosted shows with Vadivel Balaji. He went on to host shows alongside Aadhavan. Theral, a Tamil television series, marked Sharmila Thapa’s onscreen debut. In addition, Sharmila has acted in a couple movies alongside Jayam Ravi and Ajith, two Tamil actors. Aditya’s TV’s morning show is hosted by Sharmila.

In June 2019, Sharmila Thapa tied the knot with Raghu, her longtime partner and director of dance assistants.  They took part in the 2020 season of Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathrai Baruam 2 on Vijay Television. This duo took first place in the competition.
