Jude Anthany Joseph, who co-wrote the screenplay with Akhil Krishna and Linish Nellikkal, is the director of the upcoming Indian Malayalam-language action thriller Thudakkam, which translates to “Beginning.” Antony Perumbavoor produced it via Aashirvad Cinemas. The film features Vismaya Mohanlal, Mohanlal, Ashish Joe Antony, K. B. Ganesh Kumar, Sai Kumar, Namitha Pramod, and Boby Kurian. Jakes Bejoy composed the music. Jomon T. John handled the cinematography while Chaman Chakko handled the editing.
On October 30, 2025, a pooja ceremony was held to formally launch the movie. The main photography was finished on February 20, 2026, having started on November 17, 2025. Bangalore, Kuttikkanam, and Kochi were among the places where the movie was filmed. The movie is set to be released on August 7, 2026.
