Shani Salmon

Biography:

Telugu actor Shani Salmon was born in Jadcherla, Mahbubnagar District, Telangana, India, on Thursday, April 23, 1987. He went by Shaani Pagadala in real life; his mother is Shanti Pagadala, and his father is Samuel Pagadala.

Their lone child was him. Shani attended ZPH School in Hyderabad for her education. Later, he enrolled in Osmania University’s undergraduate program in Hyderabad. At Nizam University in Hyderabad, he then pursued his post-graduation studies.

Shani had a passion for acting since he was a young child.He participated in sports as well, competing at the national level in gymnastics and athletics. After seeing a newspaper ad looking for athletes for a movie, he was chosen. Shani made his feature film debut in “Sye,” which was helmed by renowned filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli.

Shani’s physical attributes and demeanor impressed Rajamouli, who named him Shani Salmon for the film. He has performed in a number of Telugu motion pictures, such as “Devadas” (2018), “Gray” (2021), “Ready” (2011), “Happy” (2016), “Shashirekha Parinayam” (2009), “EkkoMagadu” (2008), and “Kinnerasani” (2022).

Shani rose to fame as a contestant on Star Maa’s Bigg Boss 6 (Telugu), which was hosted by King Nagarjuna. “Over7” is the production house that Shani and his friend Vijayanand founded. They have made a number of commercial and short films. Casting and acting are two of the many facets of filmmaking that Shani is involved in.
