TheatreIn 2007, Surya Kiran directed the Telugu drama film Raju Bhai, starring Manoj Manchu and Sheela Kaur. The film also boasts a talented supporting cast with Kadhal Dhandapani, Tanikella Bharani, and Brahmanandam.
Unfortunately, despite being a remake of Mysskin’s acclaimed 2006 Tamil film Chithiram Pesuthadi and having a strong cast, Raju Bhai failed to impress critics and audiences alike upon its release. Mohan Babu produced the film, which ultimately proved to be a commercial and critical disappointment.
Love reformed the notorious thug, Raju. He ditched his corrupt ways, captivated by the eyes of a girl. But fate dealt a cruel hand. Framed for a grand deception, his dark past resurfaced, casting a shadow on his newfound love and threatening to engulf him in the very darkness he sought to escape.
