TheatreJ.K. Enum 2015 saw the simultaneous production and Telugu release of Nanbanin Vaazhkai, an Indian romantic drama film written and directed by Cheran (translated as “King of Kings”). In addition to Prakash Raj and Santhanam in supporting roles, the film stars Sharwanand and Nithya Menen.Siddharth Vipin composed the soundtrack for the movie, which included songs by G. V. Prakash Kumar.[2] The Tamil version of the movie, which was not successful in getting a theatrical release in late 2013, was released straight to video in March 2015. This was the first project under Cheran’s new Cinema2Home (C2H) initiative. After being put on hold indefinitely, the Telugu version of the movie was eventually released in theatres in June 2016 with the intention of making money.
JK, also known as Jayakumar (Sharwanand), is a man in his mid-20s who doesn’t give a damn about his family. Rather, he is enamoured with partying, hanging out with friends, and engaging in Facebook conversations. He has a group of friends at work who share his interests. They all intend to attend a New Year’s celebration.
JK is shown to have changed two years later; he is now deeply committed to growing, making money, and providing for his family. It is revealed that he creates business models in an attempt to make a large sum of money quickly. His objectives include marrying his two sisters and making sure his brother receives a quality education.
He visits a bank manager at his house in an effort to launch a business. While waiting for the bank manager, JK and his friend observe that the house is not kept up properly and decide to organise it. When they get back, the bank manager thanks them for their work and tells JK and his friend that it would be great if they could assist with housecleaning on a regular basis. He adds that this service would be helpful to about 150 other apartments in his complex. This turns into JK’s initial business endeavour. He also enlists the assistance of Nithya, a friend from school (Nithya Menen), for this. JK, Nithya, and their friends go on to work together on a number of successful projects together.
