TheatreTarun, Akash, Rohit, Priyamani, Sunil, and Ankita star in the 2007 Telugu-language Indian film Nava Vasantham, which translates to “New spring.” The film was directed by K. Shahjahan. The movie is a re-make of Punnagai Desam, the director’s previous film in which Tarun appeared. The movie was a box office hit even though it received mixed reviews upon release.
In order to meet his uncle and his daughter Ammu, Ganesh travels from the countryside. His uncle does not want his daughter to marry him and will not acknowledge his existence. He helps his pals Prasad, Raja, and Vijay realise their aspirations after meeting them and helping them live in substandard circumstances.
