Biography:

Ankita, who was born Ankita Jhaveri in Mumbai, is a renowned Tollywood actress and a former child model. She shot to fame with her infamous “I love you Rasna” line, which was broadcast on countless television sets across the country.
Ankita’s mother is Punjabi, and her father is a Gujarati businessman who deals in diamonds. Ankita has a sister who is currently employed in the US. Cute little Ankita drank a soft drink called Rasna and hit the arc lights. Ankita quickly earned the nickname “Rasna girl” after the Rasna television commercial became one of the country’s top hits with kids.

The Rasna girl developed into the stunning actress Ankita of Tollywood. Ankita made her acting debut in a Telugu movie called “Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo” in 2002, sharing the screen with actors like Hari Krishna and Bhanupriya. After her first film was a success, Ankita went on to star in other successful films like “Simhadri” with Jr. NTR and “Vijayendra Verma” with Balakrishna.Ankita is passionate about moving into film directing in addition to acting.
