Maranamass

Story:

Maranamass is a 2025 Indian Malayalam-language black comedy film, marking the directorial debut of Sivaprasad, who also penned the script. The film features Basil Joseph in the lead role, supported by performances from Anishma Anilkumar, Rajesh Madhavan, Babu Antony, Suresh Krishna, and Siju Sunny. It is a collaborative production between actor Tovino Thomas and his brother Tingston Thomas under their home banner, Tovino Thomas Productions, along with Raphael Pozholiparambil of Raphael Productions and Thanzeer Salam of Worldwide Films.

Plot

Maranamass tells the tale of a serial killer reminiscent of Ripper Chandran, spreading fear throughout a city. However, fate takes an unexpected turn when the killer, his intended victim, a girl, her lover, and several others find themselves aboard the same night bus. What follows is a gripping sequence of events that builds toward a suspense-filled climax packed with twists and surprises.
