Alexander Prasanth is an Indian actor and producer known for his work in Malayalam cinema. He made his acting debut in 2002 with the film Nammal, directed by Kamal. Prasanth is best recognized for his portrayal of Sebastian in Purusha Pretham (Male Ghost).
Prasanth started his career as an anchor for Crazy Records on Asianet before transitioning to acting. Over the years, he has appeared in more than 50 Malayalam films, taking on both minor and significant roles. His notable performances include films like Ordinary, Best Actor, Oru Murai Vanthu Parthaya, Ira, The Great Father, and Johny Johny Yes Appa. His roles in Action Hero Biju and Operation Java marked a turning point in his career.
In 2019, Prasanth made his Hindi film debut in Rajkumar Gupta’s India’s Most Wanted, where he played the role of South Indian Intelligence Officer Pillai. Additionally, he contributed as the creative director for the film Race.
Born to Rev. K. P. Alexander and Leelamma, Prasanth completed his education at Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla, and Kodaikanal Christian College. He is married to Sheeba, a professor at Mar Thoma College, Tiruvalla.
