Indian writer and filmmaker Kranthi Madhav is well-known for his contributions to the Telugu cinema industry. He directed movies such as Ungarala Rambabu and Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju.
Born in Khammam, Kranthi Madhav was raised in Warangal. A.F. Mathews, his lecturer, introduced him to filmmaking. In 2002, he finished his post-graduation and received two offers. There were two options: ₹12K to work on a national channel or ₹4.5K to work in Ramoji Film City. Given that the RFC position would keep him close to his dream of becoming a filmmaker, his father advised him to accept the position.
Later on he has worked in related companies like UGC, Rediffusion, Radio Mirchi and Vyjayanthi Movies before becoming an independent film director. He has cited Guru Dutt, T. Krishna, and K. Balachander as his inspirations.
