Kenatha Kanom

Story:

In 2026, Suresh Sangaiah wrote and directed Kenatha Kanom, an Indian Tamil-language satire comic drama film. RB Talkies and Box Office Studio produced the film, which was Sangaiah’s final work before his death.  The film stars Yogi Babu, Lovelyn Chandrasekhar and Raichal Rabecca in lead roles.

Since it is the 17th movie for Hotstar Specials, the preliminary title Production #17 was used when the movie was first announced in February 2024. The actual title was revealed in December 2025. R. Ramar edited the movie, V. Thiyagarajan handled the cinematography, and Nivas K. Prasanna composed the music. Kenatha Kanom was released in theatres on 13 March 2026 and received mixed reviews from critics.

A village in Ramanathapuram is experiencing drought and water scarcity, and the locals are making every effort to find a solution. As a last resort, they choose to excavate a well in front of Manivasagar, a local temple priest. However, the village is taken as the village is taken as the village is taken as a startling.
