Story:

Kabali is a tamil movie released in 2016 directed by PA.Ranjith. Kabali, raised under the wing of Tamilnesan, a righteous gangster, took over after his mentor’s assassination by Veera, a power-hungry gang member. Veera manipulated Tamilnesan’s son, Tamilmaaran, into believing he deserved leadership. Tamilmaaran invited Kabali and pregnant Kumudha to a temple function, only to be ambushed by Veera’s men. In the chaos, Kumudha was shot by Tony Lee and Kabali fought back, killing Tamilmaaran in a fit of rage. Falsely accused of initiating the massacre, Kabali was imprisoned, leaving his fate and Kumudha’s true outcome uncertain.

Kabaleeswaran, a notorious gangster in Kuala Lumpur, walks free after 25 years of wrongful imprisonment. Accused of a temple massacre that claimed his wife’s life, he seeks truth and vengeance. His enemies, the ’43’ gang, led by Tony Lee, Veera, Loga, and Seeni, control the city’s underworld.

Kabali reunites with his old friend Ameer, rekindling their bond. He confronts Seeni, leaving him severely injured. Fueled by rage and a sliver of hope, he attacks Loga who reveals a chilling truth: Kumudha, his wife, might still be alive but forced into prostitution by Veera. This revelation drives Kabali to a frenzy, leading him to kill Loga.

The news of Loga’s death reaches Tamizh Kumaran, a teacher at the Free Life Foundation School, an institution founded by Kabali and Ameer to rehabilitate young criminals. Kumaran’s father was killed by Kabali years ago, fueling a deep hatred within him. He attempts to assassinate Kabali but fails.

At the school’s function, Kabali addresses the students, sharing his past and reflecting on the “Crabs in the bucket mentality” he believes plagues the Tamil community. This mentality, he claims, hinders their progress and ultimately leads to their downfall.

With a renewed purpose, Kabali embarks on a journey to uncover the truth about his wife, clear his name, and confront his enemies. His fight for justice and the fate of the Tamil community hangs in the balance.
