Itlu Sravani Subramanyam

Story:

“Itlu Sravani Subramanyam” is a 2001 Telugu romantic drama film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. The movie stars Ravi Teja, Tanu Roy, and Sheen, with the latter two making their acting debut. The story revolves around Sravani and Subramanyam, two strangers who meet at a suicide point on Vizag’s seashore. They bond as they share their reasons for wanting to end their lives and even write suicide notes. Sravani is pressured by her relatives to secure ancestral money, while Subramanyam has been cheated by a friend who promised him a job in Dubai.

In a twist of fate, Sravani and Subramanyam decide to help each other fulfill their final wishes before their planned suicide attempt. However, their endeavor takes an unexpected turn when they consume a large quantity of sleeping pills at Subramanyam’s flat. Fortunately, they are saved by their landlord. Subramanyam eventually lands a good job, and Sravani is taken back home by her relatives. Both are pushed into arranged marriages, but they make a daring escape from their respective marriage halls and unite against all odds.
