Story:

Fighter is an upcoming Indian action film in Hindi directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures. Featuring Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, and Anil Kapoor, the movie marks the inaugural installment in a planned aerial action franchise.

The film’s announcement took place on 10 January 2021, but the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic significantly impeded its pre-production. Commencing in November 2022, principal photography unfolded in diverse locations such as Assam, Hyderabad, Jammu & Kashmir, and Mumbai, concluding by late October. Real-life Indian Air Force cadets played roles in the film. The soundtrack, comprising five songs, is crafted by the Vishal–Shekhar duo, and Satchith Paulose is the cinematographer. DNEG manages the visual aspects.

Originally slated for a theatrical debut on 30 September 2022, the release faced delays due to pandemic-induced production challenges. The film is now set to hit theaters on 25 January 2024, aligning with the Republic Day weekend.
