Story:

Anand is a Telugu drama film penned and helmed by Sekhar Kammula. Jointly produced by Amigos Creations and the National Film Development Corporation of India, the movie features Raja and Kamalinee Mukherjee in pivotal roles.

The music for the film, comprising soulful melodies, was crafted by K.M. Radha Krishnan. The narrative unfolds with the tragic death of a young girl’s family due to a character’s drunken driving.

Originally conceived as Sekhar Kammula’s thesis screenplay for his Master of Fine Arts at Howard University, the film garnered acclaim and was showcased in the mainstream section of the International Film Festival of India.
