His parents, Yogendra Gurwara and Jyoti Gurwara, are both educators and are responsible for the management of Sherwood Public School in Hyderabad. Anuj completed his schooling at Sherwood and later pursued a degree in Psychology and Advertising from Nizam College, Hyderabad. During his school and college years, he actively participated in the fields of Arts and Music.
Career: Anuj initially embarked on his career as a copywriter and content developer, working with various design firms and advertising agencies. After a brief stint with a theater group, he decided to transition into the entertainment industry.
Singer: Anuj’s breakthrough in the entertainment world came in 2009 when he made his debut as a playback singer in the Telugu film industry (Tollywood), despite not knowing how to speak Telugu. Under the direction of M. M. Keeravani, he lent his voice to the song “Panchadara Bomma” for the blockbuster film “Magadheera.” This film is renowned as one of the highest-grossing Telugu films ever. Anuj’s contribution to the film, especially the song “Panchadara Bomma,” became a massive hit and established him as a promising new voice in the music industry.
